By: Sandra Cisneros
The story we read in class is called eleven and the author is Sandra Cisneros. In the story the main character is an eleven-year-old girl named Rachel on her birthday at school. She was sitting in class when the teacher brings out an ugly stretched red sweater that was in the coat rack for a month then some one says it’s hers but it’s not. Then she put’s it on her desk and she can’t say it isn’t hers so the teacher tells her to put it on and she dose then starts to cry and the bell ring’s. And she says her birth is ruined.

When Phyllis Lopez say’s the sweater is Rachel’s, but she is frozen she doesn’t talk. So it’s like she doesn’t stand up for her self and just can’t talk. Then the teacher put’s it on her desk, and she say’s it’s like a big red mountain then she moves it to the right. Then the teacher say’s to put it on and she dose. So then she starts to cry and the bell rings for lunch.
